Happy New Year!
I still can’t believe it’s 2015 already, proven by how many times I’m still writing 2014 on my checks and file naming. Most of all I can’t believe that the holidays are over. I feel like all year I’m thinking that the holidays will never come and then switch to omg it’s almost here there’s so much to do, and then when it’s here it goes so fast and suddenly the new year has arrived. Sigh.
Folks, writing is hard and time consuming. I keep on reminding myself that the reason I started this blog is not to write grammatically perfect sentences and beautiful vocab, but to keep people updated with my life. It’s hard, though, not to sweat it when your words will be read by strangers. Hence, the sporadic and infrequent updates. I wish I could be more like this:
Instead of calling this blog a food blog, I’d rather call it a ‘this is what Susie ate and how she felt about it’ blog. Other food bloggers are so good at describing things and explaining textures and tastes. What do I do? Use the word yummy a lot. This post will illustrate that point.
